Healing For Haiti

Jonc-Dodin

Helping Haitian individuals, families, and the community by providing quality healthcare to those in need.

Our Mission

It is a privilege to introduce you to Healing for Haiti, a New Jersey based 501 (c) (3) organization. This effort was started in February 2009, and has caused considerable excitement among those who have an interest in helping people in the poorest country in our hemisphere. Our Board of Directors are a highly motivated group, largely composed of medical professionals, led by Christopher Godek, MD, FACS, and renowned New Jersey Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

Much has been accomplished to date. Five acres have been purchased, which will serve as the site for our new clinic. This property has already been walled off and gated for security purposes. The first floor construction is underway. Our goal to provide healthcare to these dear villagers is in sight. Medical teams have been organized and stand ready to serve as soon as the building phase of this project has been completed.

Project Progress

We are proud to announce that we have completed the first phase of construction! We are now serving patients in Jonc-Dodin and the surrounding areas.

We have come a long way. Thank you to everyone who has partnered with us. Together, we can make this dream a reality.

If you are excited by what we are doing, would you consider partnering with us?

About Us

Meet the staff that makes Healing for Haiti possible. It is our objective to provide quality Medical care to the village of Jonc Dodin, a remote area of Haiti where there is no potable drinking water, no electricity, no sewage plants, and no medical treatment available.

Our Board Of Directors

The board has the expertise and capability to ensure that all of the money raised by Healing for Haiti will be used solely to build and equip the medical clinic in Jonc-Dodin. As a volunteer board, the directors reach into their own pockets for travel to Haiti and to cover administrative costs. There are no paid staff positions.
